With various aspects of the project unintentionally coming together or reaching certain goals all around the same time, November has been pretty jam-packed with activity so far! Things should be easing back into their normal pace now, but we hope it's been an exciting ride. Considering all that's happened and with the project having hit its six month mark recently, seems a good time for another Status Report!

Lately I've been focusing on various aspects of the game environment. This includes a bit of model creation, texture work, and experimentation with shaders and lighting. I've added two new screens that more or less showcase the results of my efforts.

There once was a time, not so very long ago, that the term "air pirates" applied to a crude lot of nomad diggers and thieves, just a small, trashy portion of society. Then along came the Sturm Force, a large gang of pirates who banded together, pooling their plunder and resources to create an organized and fearsome armada. Such a force had never been seen before, and as they continued to build they soon became unstoppable. Though no pirate group ever came close to matching their might, the rise of Sturm Force spawned similar gangs and began a new era of air pirating with style and dignity.

It's official, we've finally added some new staff members to the TLT development team! Of course we've had interested volunteers trying to hop on board since the day we launched the site, but in the interest of finding people both talented and dedicated we've held off expanding the staff until there were some solid results to show.
