Followers of TLT have probably guessed at there being some setbacks with the engine, made obvious by my complete lack of tweets or blog posts in recent weeks. I always hesitate in voicing such setbacks as some may find it discouraging, but seeing as this project is all about open development I decided it doesn't get much worse than not saying anything one way or the other.

So, about those setbacks...

While this Event's 30 entries may have been quite a drop from our last Event's (Museum Exhibits) 103 entries, we consider it a pretty successful turnout as no doubt airship design isn't everyone's cup of tea! And most importantly the entries were quite solid, making for an unexpectedly difficult time in narrowing it down to our four winners. Don't you just love Legends music? I know I do. I'm wild about the soundtracks for all three games in our beloved series. It's not without some hesitation that I say this, but... Airships have always been an important aspect of the world covered in endless water. Important, but not exactly prominent; very few are ever actually seen beyond those used by the heroes and pirates of the story. We hope to rectify this in Tuttle's Legendary Travels by giving airships a generally more prominent presence around the Quint Islands. To do this we'll be needing some new airship designs, and this is where TLT's 7th community Event comes in!

Head here to visit the Event's official forum thread for all rules and entry submissions!
