Thanks for the feedback fab! I see what you meant by taking away the aspect of a ruin entrance wouldn't have worked as well. I'll definitely use this idea again with the Sub-Gate design event if there's no objection against such action. I also congratulate the winners of this contest. I myself was really interested in emeltee's design. My first thought when I saw that was "It looks like the broken highway from MMX." Congrats again to all the winners and I look forward to the next event.
Congratulations everybody! I'm very glad MLT's landmark was one of the three chosen. The concept of an exposed ruin blew my mind! Looking forward to new updates and the new event when it's ready.

It'll probably be a while before we get to the Sub-Gate Event, but by all means enter it again when the time comes, Dragge.
Thanks Mirak! I thought it went pretty well for a first one.
Agreed Loken, MLT's was an unexpected but pleasant surprise, taking big and ancient and using it a different way. Next Event should be soon!
Just looking at the pas competitions. Favorite was definitely the partially exposed ruins. The windmill could have also been repurposed as an explorable building. Inside the mechanical energy could be converted directly into a mixer or grinder of some sort wasting refractory energy on trash disposal or recycling probably wouldn't have been a top priority. Explaining the lack of a refractory. Just have the shaft of the windmill lead into an debris pit. Anyways. At the dentist waiting for them to get through with my gf so... yeah haha
