TLT Going to MRFF! (Sort of)
Posted by fAB on June 19th, 2013 - 02:58 am UTC

If you've been following Tuttle's Legendary Travels at all then you're probably aware that we've made efforts to involve Japanese fans in the game's development, efforts that have yet to bear fruit. So, when the Mega Rock Fan Festa was announced (a major Mega Man/Rockman fan event taking place in Tokyo on June 29th), my head immediately began to fill with thoughts of finally reaching the Japanese audience by giving TLT some sort of presence there. The good folks at GetMeOffTheMoon were thinking along similar lines and got in touch with us. Tentative plans were made to showcase a new TLT demo at MRFF.

Well, time passed and eventually we learned that the Japanese side of GetMeOffTheMoon had already completely packed their event schedule to the brim. There was no way they could fit TLT into their activities, but it was just as well seeing as we've not been able to devote nearly as much time to this project this year as we would have liked to. Still, I felt like TLT needed to be at MRFF in some form or other, even if it only had a minimal presence.

This is what we came up, a poster/flier that (if all goes well) will be hanging in a few places around the event hall ten days from now. It's not much, but here's hoping it catches a few eyes.

Incidentally, it roughly says:
Epic fan game in the making!! Starring Teiji from Toron ni Kobun!
New islands! New ruins! New foes!
Be a part of the game's development! Take part in the many community Events!

Our thanks goes to HF for the text translations as usual, Suzukaze in Japan who'll be handling the printing and placing, and Skybane_Zero and Jack Griffiths from GetMeOffTheMoon for handling discussions across the language barrier!
