If you're still looking for alternatives to Unity, I've been developing a Mega Man Legends-like game in Unreal Engine for a while now and it's stellar for what I need. Will be a massive blow to abandon Unity no matter what, but I feel it may be a good option.

We did try to dabble a bit in Unreal following the Unity crash. While it's certainly an impressive tool, there were just a lot of aspects I wasn't enjoying about it (most leading back to what an absolute AAA team-oriented colossus of an engine it is), and eventually I had to admit it probably wouldn't work for me. Appreciate the suggestion though, and that's cool you're finding good success with it--wish you the best on your project!

aha yeah that's fair, the engine has a lot to it. And thanks! Is there by chance a TLT Discord server where we might be able to keep up with updates more easily? I don't have a Twitter, and only found out about this after it got posted in the Legends Station server a few days later

@GlitchedLizard If TLT does manage to get going again, setting up its own Discord server would probably be worth considering, but for now this is still the prime place to check. For the time being it's safe to assume that any updates will be few and far between, and will not contain anything that anyone needs to keep up-to-the-minute on.

Remember what you guys said that you want to do your own spin of Mega Man Legends 3 in TLT report video? Well I have a better idea for guys. How about doing a full-fledged remake of Rockman DASH: 5 Island Adventures. You guys are very much welcome to use my concept fan story based on that Japanese cell phone game as your template of that fan game just as long as I am credited in it. If you guys need any advice feel free to talk to me.

Hey respectfully, I disagree with your assessment of community interest. I would LOVE to play this and I know EVERYONE who would play MML3 would play this... But, realistically... This project is older than 3 of my kids. You guys haven't had a very remarkable output and perhaps, the best gauge of interest would be to 1. Put your resources up on GitHub as you suggested... Or
2. Start A Go Fund Me and hire more people with the funds.

You don't have deadlines.
You don't have anything other than some cred to gain.
So therefore you have no motivation to do this project.

Either drop it or DO IT. but please, don't waste it.
