Airships have always been an important aspect of the world covered in endless water. Important, but not exactly prominent; very few are ever actually seen beyond those used by the heroes and pirates of the story. We hope to rectify this in Tuttle's Legendary Travels by giving airships a generally more prominent presence around the Quint Islands. To do this we'll be needing some new airship designs, and this is where TLT's 7th community Event comes in!

Well the results are in, and we want to thank all twenty-five participants for providing us with over a hundred interesting objects to choose from! Fair to say the Malt Island Museum is going to be a very interesting place to visit.

Looking back at the recent activity here in the Development Blog it seems it's been quite a while since we had a good, substantial post relating to progress. Naturally this wasn't as we intended (having a second demo out by now would have been preferable), but sadly our lives have just been too busy this year for substantial TLT time. That's not to say we haven't been giving it attention, however; we always squeeze in what we can, when we can. In addition to our standard priorities, much our time continues to go into staff correspondence, Event planning and running, and so on. Lately we've also been doing a fair amount of design work on important characters and locations, some of which will hopefully find its way into models soon.

I would give the usual jabber about us really getting on the ball soon, but you've all heard that one before and the fact is we really don't have enough control over our schedule at present to follow through with that promise. Rest assured though, TLT is always on our minds and we will continue to do what we can as time allows- and hopefully time will allow us some better TLT work soon. smiley

Anyway, while work on our end has been unfortunately slow, our staff has really been pumping out some awesome works- not to mention a new concept artist has joined our ranks! Read on to see what they've been up to.

The Quint Islands are rich in both mystery and culture, and these elements are both well-represented at the prominent Malt Island Museum, around which our latest Event revolves! MML1's museum was an interesting place with a memorable curator and a rewarding side quest. We hope to make our museum every bit as enjoyable for players, if not more so, starting with your help to make it a cool place to visit!

We've reevaluated our current staffing needs and updated the direct participation page accordingly. A number of positions have been reworded and reprioritized, and a few new positions have opened up. Most notably, we're now looking for more people with Japanese language skills to assist with Event and website translations, as well as spread word of the project to the Japanese DASH community.

If you're interested in being a part of TLT, check out the page for more details!
