Comments for TLT Going to MRFF! (Sort of)

That is pretty cool, however...despite how understandable your situations are, I feel you guys really need to get on the ball and release another demo asap. I've been following TLT since It was first announced (the 3D game) and I've been optimistic but at this time I'm feeling disappointed by how little has actually been done, and I feel that this effects not only me but the community supporting TLT. My biggest fear regarding TLT is it being canceled like TLT's 5 Islands was (granted that game was canceled via this game being announced, but still quite a few years and a direction change at that). From the poster alone I can see you have some strong boss designs and interesting female characters, and from the Music Tracks section I've heard very impressive tracks that put Capcom's talent to shame. So, bring it. This could look very impressive on a resume IF fully completed and functional. So, please help keep the faith in Megaman Legends and release a demo ASAP.

Thanks for your honesty, Gene. I do fear that a lot of TLT's followers might be losing faith in the project (despite our best efforts at keeping the ball rolling in other areas), but unfortunately our situations haven't changed much since my last word on the game's programming progress. With a recent milestone reached in our jobs I'm hoping to start squeezing TLT into the schedule more frequently, but figuratively speaking, putting food on the table simply takes priority. We don't have a choice in the matter.

So, there's really nothing big I can do to restore faith at present. All I have for you right now is my word that we have absolutely no intention of ever canceling this project, no matter how long it takes.
I know that's been said by a good many fangame developers, but if it makes any difference I myself have completed 13 fangames in the past (one of which took 4 hard years)- and none of them ever had the level of passion that fuels TLT. I've been making fangames since 2004, and my only public cancellation was TL5IA for the sake of evolving into TLT.

Please remember, fAB and I want to see this project done more than anyone. These are difficult times for both of us, but we do what we can, when we can. I hope you and others who feel that the project is going nowhere will continue to hang in there with us for awhile longer.

Along these lines then do you guys have another event coming soon? I feel like getting another one of those rolling would help things out a bit.

I believe in you guys, like I said I'm VERY impressed with what I've seen -just not so much "how much" I've seen. Thanks for the reply. I understand what you mean about what comes first, I just wanted to express a concern. I'd also like to point out how much I would like a soundtrack of TLT upon completion. I know TeamFourStar is able to sell t-shirts based on Dragon Ball Z, so maybe, you could sell TLT's OST on Itunes. I'm sure Get off the Moon would back that in a heart beat. I know that's far ahead but, it's something you might of not considered (but then again you probably did). Anyway, take care. s-smiley.gif

@Dragge
The Events started rolling out faster than planned, which was fine while progress was still pushing ahead steadily, but we're having to space them a little farther apart now so that they aren't all exhausted way before the project itself gains notable ground. The next one shouldn't be too far off, but we want to wait until after MRFF of course, and we don't want it to directly overlap with MMLS's current event either.

@Gene
After the game is done we eventually intend to have the entire soundtrack available for download on the site. Thanks for believing in us!

@fAB
That's understandable, just keep doing what you guys are doing, I have faith that you guys will make a stellar game and from what we've seen so far it looks like it's on that track!
