Will there be unique ruin sections in this Kattelox-style network, or is it styled as one big ruin, retaining similar themes throughout? That last bullet wasn't very clear on any distinctions.

Pretty much how Legends 1 handles it; there will be Sub-Gates on each island with different themes, which will all be connected to a large similar-themed ruin network.

I'm glad you decided to use the museum concept. One could easily look over that aspect of MML when making a fangame but it was honestly one of my favorite parts. Filling out those empty shelves was alot of joy. The refining of the special weapons is good news aswell. I really oly used maybe 4 different weapons in MML1 & 2. And of course everybody should be happy about conjoined ruins! The exploration!

Happy to hear you're digging the new details! Agreed on all of the above; I never cared much for MML2's single-ruin design, while exploring the ruin network was one of my favorite gameplay aspects of the first Legends.
The refining of the special weapons actually started from the fact that Tuttle's options are more limited, since he doesn't go in for busters and the like. But yeah, neat as it was to have a wide variety of weapon choices, it pretty much came down to "Cool! I got the Grenade Arm... why would I equip this again?" I think it should be pretty cool to have an arsenal where each weapon has its moments. s-cool.gif

Man, I can't wait to see what kind of junk priceless artifacts Tuttle gets to donate to the museum!

Are the cars coming back as environmental hazards? Based off the third Aurora Stone triple-whammy trap debacle I can't see Tuttle crossing the street without getting run over at least once.

Yep, cars are most certainly returning. Can't have large-scale Legends cities without 'em. s-smiley.gif

Will you be able to use the hover skates like in MML2 or any other type of non-weapon item? perhaps a cool idea could be to have reverse-gravity shoes that cause you to attach to the ceiling to progress in a certain ruins, such a mechanic could be quite fun and controlled via ruin exclusive active mount. I have a lot of ideas for pirates and stuff if so requested I will gladly produce examples as I would love to be a part in anyway I can as a longtime MML fan.

As a closing note I find that including a side/support character with a set of twin swords could add what MML could be be missing in the modern age, now I say that because the character could have limited range and power and easily defeated as only to provide temp aid.

If interested in any of my ideas, fell free to contact me. P.S. Congrats.

I'm glad to hear that the museum is returning! And good call on the weapons each having they're own important properties. The only "why use this when I could use that" scenario that I could see being passable is if it where something really powerful, obscure, and expensive like the Shining Lazer which I gotta say I never had that much fun using. Active Buster and Machine Gun for me!
