Way, way, WAY past due status update on Tuttle's Legendary Travels.

Hey there and hello to our few unwavering visitors. It's been a looooong time since the last update. The longer that gap in progress becomes, the more it seems like we need a substantial blog post or status update video to properly talk in-depth about where TLT stands and where it doesn't.

This... is not that. We will get around to that substantial post/video at some point, but this is just me popping in on TLT's anniversary to say sorry for the silence, and that even though the project hasn't been moving forward at all, it's also not forgotten.

Has everyone been enjoying the longest silence in TLT history?  enlightened

Sorry to say that any precious little time I might have been able to devote to this project these past many months has been snatched by another task, one that I expected would be done long ago but still won't be for at least another month. Maybe check back then.

Sorry it's been a while since the last word. I worked on TLT a bit after the April update, but then I reached the point that to continue, we needed to upgrade the project to a new version of Unity. That meant dragging Blyka out of hiatus, which I didn't have the heart to do because we were both super stressed and exhausted at the time. When I finally asked and he finally did it, well, my same lack of time and energy persists. Anyway, I opened the project up tonight and started in on fixing some little issues so maybe, maybe, things will get crawling again.

Hey, I've been meaning to drop a quick word on how things are going. Full disclosure here, I didn't touch TLT from the time of my last post until March 22nd. Most of the stuff on the to-do list was just super daunting and I didn't have the energy to dive into it.

I got around that by ignoring the big stuff for now and focusing on less important tasks, like environment expansion. So far it's going well, and I've been slipping in decent work sessions regularly since then. I'm hoping the daunting tasks will feel less so after having warmed back up to the project with these easier sessions.

That's it for now. Stay safe and healthy, everyone!
